Companion of the Worship Arts The Companion of the Worship Arts is an honor bestowed on individuals in recognition of significant contributions to the worship life of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and Anglican Church of Canada (ACC). One year ago…One year from now!

I was kindly reminded today by Facebook that one year ago TODAY about 100 Saskatchewan youth and leaders embarked on a wonderful bus trip through Edmonton, Jasper, Mt. Arthur Nelvin Solheim Arthur Nelvin Solheim was born October 2, 1917 in Camrose, Alberta to Pastor Andrew Solheim and Mina Lyseng Solheim, the second of seven children. March 26-27, 2015 Synod Council meeting synopsis

On March 26th -27th, the Synod Council met at Queen’s House Saskatoon for its annual March meeting. Chaplain Barb Weiss organized our worship times which included a communion service presided at by Rev. Sheldon Gattinger. The Synod Council spent some time discussing ways that we can respond to the motions that were made at the May 2014 Synod Convention; reviewing the auditor’s report and spending time thinking through the strategic plan to be presented at the June 2016 Synod Convention. Take part in an interactive experience in creating a ministry tool to assist rural pastors and denominational leaders better understand, recognize and affirm the practices of health and wellness in a rural church..
