Lutheran Theological Seminary, Saskatoon announces appointment of President

 Saskatoon, SK – The Board of Governors of Lutheran Theological Seminary (LTS}, Saskatoon is pleased to announce the appointment of the Dr. William (Bill} H. Harrison to the posit ion of President of Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Dr. Harrison brings a broad background to the position including his many years in parish and diocesan work, and seminary/ post -secondary education teaching and administrative leadership. Most recently he has been serving as the Director for Mission and Ministry for the Anglican Diocese of  Huron, Ontario responsible for the strategic plan goals of  creating  an external focus on mission, strengthening human resources, and fostering effective use of financial and physical resources. Prior to that he was the Principal for the Kootenay School  of Ministry in British Columbia. He has also held positions with the College of Emmanuel and St. Chad, Saskatoon.

Dr. Harrison’ s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Boston College, an M.A. in English from the University of British Columbia, and a B.Th. from St. Paul University/University of Ottawa.

Dr. Harrison assumes his new role later this summer.
