Devotions and reflections

In a very secular world in which spirituality seems to be rarely part of our conversation, consider daily devotions.

Eternity for Today

Eternity for Today has long been a daily devotional resource of the ELCIC.  The devotions are available on the ELCIC website at http://www.elcic.ca/news.cfm?article=394

The website also includes information about the new app for the devotions.

 God Pause

You may also consider an online resource available through Luther Seminary, St Paul, Minnesota.  Their “God Pause” devotions are short, meaningful reflections on the following Sunday’s lessons. You can view or subscribe to the devotions at http://www.luthersem.edu/godpause/daily_view.aspx

In the Meantime:

If you are interested in reflections on spiritual and theological topics have a look at David Lose’ blog: In the Meantime. David J. Lose became the president of Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia on Sept. 1, 2014. Lose was previously professor in preaching and  academic dean at Luther Seminary, St. Paul. He is an author, a sought after speaker and his blog is quite quite educational, inspiring, and engaging. Here is the link: http://www.davidlose.net/
